Hi everyone, I could really use some help. See, I'm working on a Kimono Girl and I'm seeing that nothing is changing when I edit. I added a texture that matched a name of an original texture, and that worked just fine. But, when I'm editing the sleeves to a red color I need, the color isn't changing at all! I tried reloading, and it's not working...

:bulletred: Try naming the new sleeve texture a different one from the original (e.g. original.png --> original123.png) so PMDe can alternate quicker. My PMDe does that too...

:bulletred: Make sure the new texture is in a format that your version of PMDe can handle (e.g. png and tga files are supported in the new versions)

:bulletred: If the sleeve doesn't have a texture and it's just a colour thing, try changing the colours to a darker version so you can see it clearer.

If that doesn't work, then I don't know. :shrug: Sorry I couldn't be anymore help!

:bulletred: Make sure that the texture in your folder is named the same as the one in the texture box in PMDe.

:bulletred: Check that it's UV mapped correctly.

:bulletred: Ensure that the file format is either PNG or BMP (as I know older versions of PMDe don't like certain types of picture files).

I hope any of these help! :dummy:

How did I UV mapped it correctly? I'm a beginner at pmd ;A;

There are many ways of UV mapping. However, what I do (and this is an easier way) if the texture isn't displaying properly, select the hair material that's troubling you (from the MA list) and then, in the PMDeView window, do you see a Japanese name followed by a (E)?

If you do, then click that to bring the drop down menu on there. From there, you need to click the ones that end with (V) and then (D). A window will come up, just click Yes. That should help~ :meow:

Again, this will only work if the texture is named correctly and you're using a newer version of PMDe.
